FAQ’s

What are the age requirements for Iowa Youth Camp?

  • Must be at least 12 years of age by June 1st and no older than 18 (2024 Graduate)

  • Hyphen Age: At this time, those that are 18 years (2023 graduate) of age and older are not able to attend. Please stay tune for more information in regards to the upcoming Hyphen Conference taking place October 17-19, 2024.

Can we pay via check?

  • Checks are accepted until June 1st. Please mail all checks in to our Youth Ministries Secretary no later than June 1st.

Where do I submit my signed forms?

  • Please email all signed documents to iowayouthministries@gmail.com or upload here. All signed forms are REQUIRED before access to the dorm is granted.

What does a typical day look like at camp?

  • Days are full of teaching, an opportunity to buy snacks at the Snack Shack, recreation, and choir practice. Recreation includes swimming, zip-lining, basketball, volleyball, gaga ball, and time with friends!

  • The cafeteria serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

  • The highlight of the day is the daily church service. These services engage students in apostolic worship and preaching. The camp evangelist constantly challenge students with the Word of God. Students find purpose, develop callings, and go deeper in their faith during these services.

What time does registration begin?

  • Camper Registration begins at 1:00 PM on the Monday of camp

  • No early dorm access!

What are Growth Tracks?

  • We are excited to offer a new type of class at Youth Camp! When you register for camp, you will pick a growth track and remain in that track for the entire week. There will be practical applications, teaching on the topic of your choosing, and the opportunity to use what you have learned! *Each growth track has limited space.

  • To all parents and/or youth leaders registering your student - please ask them this question so they will know what track they have signed up for

Am I allowed to have medications with me at camp?

  • No. You must turn over all medicines to the camp nurse team at registration. Our medical team will distribute medication as needed.

Am I allowed to have my phone with me at camp?

  • No. All phones and electronic devices will be turned in at check in and returned at the end of the week. We encourage all students to disconnect from the world and to connect with God and fellow students during this time.
